The Sling Media Slingbox Pro-Hd is expedient that allows you to stream you home Tv/Cable Tv channels on to your home network or the internet, so that it can be viewed by other devices such as other Tvs, your laptop or your desktop. If it is streamed over the internet, you can watch the channels on your movable expedient from in any place nearby the world. This model is a supervene up from the highly beloved Slingbox Pro. This new model can stream Hd videos onto a network.
The new Slingbox Pro-Hd as a more modern and serious found compared to its predecessor (a casual white and red design). This new model has a black and silver casing. The front is made of a silver metal mesh.
Hd Media Player
Setting up the Slingbox Pro-Hd was relatively easy. Instead of providing the Cd with all the necessary software, you will have to download the Sling Player software over the internet from the manufacturer's website. The installation was pretty easy and straightforward.
If you plan to stream Hd videos over the internet, you must at least have a 1.5mbps upload speed. If you down, you can still watch the videos at a lower resolution. Since I don't have an internet connect with that upload speed, this expedient worked best for me at home (with my local network connection). The Slingbox Pro-Hd is not wireless ready, which is quite a shame. It also does not withhold Hdmi inputs. Although this new model comes with a few flaws, it is still a pretty cool exiguous expedient for sharing your Tv/Cable channels.
